Three Months

THREE MONTHS!!! Seriously???  This sweet boy is growing so fast.

Month three has brought a lot of changes for our little family.  Mom had to go back to work and Beau is now in daycare.  Thankfully we love where he is at during the day and the transition has been pretty smooth. Minus the first few days, I could've cried all day if nobody had been around!  

On top of all of this we have had some much better firsts.  Last night, right on Beau's three month birthday he rolled over.  Of course we were not prepared so we don't have a video.  I think it happened by pure accident, and he is yet to do it again.  I'm sure it won't be long now before he's rolling all over the place though.  Tonight he gave us a little bit of a giggle.  I did capture it on video! I will post it once I get it uploaded! Probably the biggest accomplishment though is that Beau is sleeping through the night!!!!  So helpful when you have to get up and actually get yourself to work on time! Sometimes he fusses a bit but usually you can get him right back to sleep.

Everything is so entertaining when it comes to this little boy.  He is so happy and so loved! We shall see what kind of new stuff we can learn by month four!

2 Month Update

I'm running a little bit behind on this post.  Beau was two months on June 30.  I wanted to wait until July 1 to actually write his update because that is when his doctors appointment was.  That backfired in my face as July 1st was also the day I went back to work and the day Beau had to get his first set of shots.  I intended to write the post when I got home that evening but the whole day was pretty rough and by the time we got home Beau was in hysterics from those shots.  I"m not sure who had the worst that day.  I cried, Beau cried, and then we both cried some more.  Thankfully by Tuesday he was all smiles and liked his mom again. Then I got to spend the long holiday weekend with him.  I miss my sweet little boy something fierce during the day.  Anyway on to the update.

Beau weighed in at 11 lbs. 3 ounces and was 23.5 inches long.  He was in the 50th percentile for weight and 50-75th percentile for length.  He's long and skinny.  It will be interesting to see if he stays that way.

I already shared his sweet smiles with you.  (And man are they ever, we get smiles all the time.)  On top of that though he can "talk " like a champ.  He will carry on a full conversation of ooh, aah, and mmm for a good long while.  It's pretty precious. He has much better control of his neck and head now and can hold them up for a few without help. He also wiggles and squirms a lot more.  I'm afraid he will be rolling over before we know it. He's growing so fast already.  We are well on our way to three months and I can already tell we will have more new things to share next month.  Until then I will leave you with some pictures.
