30 Weeks

Total weight gain:  At my doc appointment on Thursday I was up to a total of 11 gained.
Maternity clothes? Same few things.  It doesn't really matter what it is though it's not very comfortable at this point and will only get worse I'm sure.
Stretch marks? Still none thankfully!
Sleep: Sleep just depends on the nightSome nights my head hits the pillow and I don't move at all, others I have to pee or I have heartburn for what seems like the entire night.
Best moment this week: Getting the nursery started finally!  On Saturday my mom helped me (and by helped I mean did most of) paint the trim in baby boy's room and today Mark and I put the ceiling fan up and Mark put our rocker together.  That bad boy is comfy and we both could have rocked ourselves right to sleep.
Miss Anything? Still missing running but I'm doing other stuff instead so I'm not getting cabin fever to bad.
Movement:  All kinds!
Food cravings:  MILK!!! I loved milk before anyway but lately I just CANNOT get enough.  Plus chocolate milk really has been helping with heartburn so that is an added bonus.
Anything making you queasy or sick:  No, but some things just sound gross to me.  Mexican food has been the main thing lately.
Gender: Boy!
Labor Signs: None.
Symptoms: Heartburn! Ugh, I'm not going to miss that part at all!
Belly Button in or out? Still in, but almost flat!
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time:  Happy.  I'm beginning to feel a little anxious at times...I feel like everything is sneaking up on us sooo fast!
Looking forward to: Getting the crib and the dresser put together and figuring out the rest of the room.

It's like Space

Not to long ago, Mark and I were having a conversation about how crazy pregnancy is.  It is almost impossible to wrap our minds around the fact that there is a living, growing, little tiny human inside of me!  If you know Mark, you also know that space is fasincanating to him and it's another thing we both also have a hard time getting a handle on.  So in the midst of the conversation about pregnancy and our future child he said to me "It's like space."  Well babe, I have to agree.  Pregnancy is indeed a little bit like outer space!

So why all the space talk anyway? Because we had our 3D ultrasound on Saturday!  Talk about crazy, and comparing pregnancy to space. It was so amazing to see Baby Brown!  For the most part he napped but he also blinked a few times, he was swallowing fluid, grasping his hands, and making funny faces.  Truly a miracle this little boy is!

Here are a few pictures from the session!

He was hiding behind his arms and hands for a while.
We finally got him to move toward the end though.

You can see his little clenched fist in this one.

He's definitely got his momma's lips but other than that
I can't really decide who he looks like yet!
What do you think?

Pouting...He was over being nudged on!
Overall I'd say he's growing quite nicely! In ten short weeks we will be able to see his actual little face!  I know it's a little bit like cheating when you can do an ultrasound like this, but I highly recommend it if you have a chance.  It's so much fun.

29 Weeks

My Favorite part of this picture is Hooch playing peek-a-boo in the back!
Total weight gain:  ??? I'm not sure, but I know I'm getting bigger!
Maternity clothes? Nothing new I might have to break down and get some more shirts but I really don't want to.
Stretch marks? Still none.  I'm keeping up with all kinds of moisturizer so hopefully that will keep them at bay.
Sleep: Sleep is good when I'm sleeping.  Heartburn and cramping in my hips from laying on my sides wake me up on occasion.
Best moment this week: By far our 3D/4D Ultrasound on Saturday.  We got to take our parents and sisters and show Charlie off a little bit.  It was so fun, I will share more about it tomorrow!
Miss Anything? Running! Everyone around me seems to be in health mode or exercise mode or training for this event or this race.  I just want to join in!  By the time this little boy gets here I have a feeling everyone is going to want to go on a chocolate chip pancake binge!
Movement:  Yes, he is back head down so I'm feeling lots of kicks and wiggles near my ribs on my right side.  I also can feel his little bean head in my hip bone sometimes.
Food cravings:  Milk!  Chocolate milk helps with the heartburn and it just tastes soooooooo delicious! This is also a very good thing because now that baby is growing more and more he needs more calcium which means I do too!!
Anything making you queasy or sick:  Nothing!
Gender:   BOY!
Labor Signs: None.
Symptoms: HEARTBURN!! It is soo bad when I get it! Belly Button in or out? In, but I don't know for how much longer.
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!
Looking forward to: Cleaning and organizing some of the house in order to make room for more baby things! Weird that someone would actually look forward to those two things.

28 Weeks

Total weight gain: Of course I  don't know for sure...the scale is only for the doctors office!
Maternity clothes? Nothing new.  I'm getting really sick of everything though.
Stretch marks? Still none, thankfully!
Sleep: Sleep is still good as long as I can stay comfortable.  Comfort is getting increasingly hard to come by these days, everything is starting to feel very heavy.
Best moment this week: We got the room for the nursery sort of cleaned out. Things are finally starting to come together in that arena.
Miss Anything?  Clothes that fit normally
Movement:  Yes, he is moving like normal again.
Food cravings:  No cravings really, but I do have a little bit of a sweet tooth.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Mark and I ate at Chick-fil-a Saturday and it grossed me out a bit.  Nothing else though.
Gender:   BOY!!!!!!
Labor Signs: None yet.
Symptoms: Heartburn!  It is so bad, Tums are now a major food group.  If this child doesn't come out with hair I'm going to have a serious conniption fit at everything that told me heartburn equals lots of hair!
Belly Button in or out? Still in, not much of a whole though.
Wedding rings on or off? They are on, I did take them to get sized though.  It's needed done for a while and I figured now was as good a time as any. I figure the more pregnant I get and the warmer the tempature gets my fingers will just be swelling anyway.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy
Looking forward to: Our 3d ultrasounds on Saturday.  I can't wait to see his little face again!

27 Weeks

Total weight gain: At my doctor appointment this week I was up 9 lbs. Not bad!
Maternity clothes? A few things,  I really want new clothes but I don't want to buy maternity anything anymore.  I figure I won't wear it much after, I did buy a few long tank tops on Saturday that should get me through the end.  If any of my other shirts get to short I will just wear those underneath.
Stretch marks? Still holding strong and don't have any showing up yet.
Sleep: I can't complain to much I wake up a few times a night for a bathroom break but when I'm sleeping it is good sleep.
Best moment this week:  I spent Saturday with Mark.  We got the baby registry at Babies R Us all done, had lunch, and just got to hang out for the day.
Miss Anything? My jeans fitting like normal.  The belly belt still keeps them buttoned but it just isn't the same as the real thing.
Movement:  Yes, but we did have a little scare that sent us to labor and delivery Saturday night.  Normally I feel Charlie moving the most at around 9 o'clock at night.  Thursday I noticed a little that he wasn't quite as wiggly, then Friday I noticed throughout the day a little but really again on Friday night.  On Saturday morning I brought it up to Mark that I didn't feel like he was moving as much as normal so I just tried to pay attention throughout the day.  He was definitely still moving but still not as much, Saturday night  I noticed it again.  Mark and I talked about it, I called my mom, I cried, I finally called the doctor and they asked me to come in. I really cried.  They hooked me up to monitors to watch baby's heartbeat and see if I was having any contractions.  (The nurse thought I was having some little ones but the doctor on call said no.)  After watching the heartbeat they did an ultrasound and checked everything: movement, fluid, heartbeat, cervical length.  Everything.  Thankfully all of it checked out and they think that baby is just in such a different position from normal that I can't feel it as much and the movement is in different places.  We came home a few hours later and I really felt like a drama queen.  The peace of mind was worth it though.
Food cravings:  Nothing really.
Anything making you queasy or sick:  Nope
Gender:   Boy
Labor Signs: Thankfully no!
Symptoms: Nothing really, unless you count the rise in blood pressure I had on Saturday.
Belly Button in or out? In, but not as deep.
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, but if I start crying at anthing I feel like I can't stop.
Looking forward to: Taking it easy and starting the third trimester.  I can't believe it!
