23 Weeks

Baby Size: According to my app baby is the size of a mango this week.  I feel like the apps spaghetti squash measurements are off.  In my grocery store the mango are usually much smaller than the squash...?
Total weight gain: Sitting around 10 pounds +/- depending on the day.
Maternity clothes? Nothing new and believe it or not most of my pants are still buttoning.
Stretch marks? Nothing new here either. I really hope I can keep them at bay this time.
Sleep: Great unless heartburn is waking me up.
Best moment this week: Easter Sunday with my boys.
Miss Anything? Not really.
Movement:  All kinds of movement. Mostly on my far left side already right under my rib cage.
Food cravings: No cravings really.  But we could use to go on a sugar purge in our house.
Anything making you queasy or sick:  Nope
Gender:   Girl!
Labor Signs: No
Symptoms: HEARTBURN!!!!!! It's so bad.  I remember having it all the time with Beau but I do not remember it being this bad. Lord help me!!!
Belly Button in or out? In for now.
Wedding rings on or off? On!
Looking forward to: Picking some baby stuff out and starting to get her bedroom together.

22 Weeks

Baby Size: Baby is about the size of a spaghetti squash
Total weight gain: Avoiding the scale but I'd guess hanging right around the ten pound mark.
Maternity clothes? Nothing new, and my pants buttoned another week!
Stretch marks? Nothing new here either.
Sleep: Sleep is good, although we've all seem to come down with some sinus issue this week.  My stuffy/runny nose is the cause of my waking hours this week.
Best moment this week: Dying Easter Eggs last night.  It was done in record time as Beau didn't have the patience to let an egg sit for longer than a second.
Miss Anything? I wanted a beer all weekend, a few warm sunshine filled days will do that to you!
Movement:  Tons! Mostly late at night, around ten, but starting to feel things through the day too.
Food cravings:  Pasta, and it's still not a craving so much as nothing else really sounds good.
Anything making you queasy or sick:  Not really.
Gender:   Girl!!!
Labor Signs: Nope
Symptoms: Just heartburn thankfully!
Belly Button in or out? In.  But I think it is going to pop this time.  It never did with Beau, just got really flat.  I took my belly ring out tonight because I felt like it was starting to show through all my clothes.
Wedding rings on or off?  On
Looking forward to: Easter Sunday.  Beau is at such a fun age right now!

21 Weeks

Baby Size: Baby is the length of a carrot.
Total weight gain: 9 pounds at the doctor last week.  If I stay on this track I stand to gain about the same as I did with Beau.  If I keep eating cookies, well that could be a different story.
Maternity clothes? Nothing new still. I may have to invest in some longer shirts one of these days.
Stretch marks? Still going strong and don't have any new ones.
Sleep: Still good.  I usually am up at least once a night to use the restroom and sometimes have a hard time falling back to sleep.
Best moment this week: Our ultrasound.
Miss Anything?  Not really.
Movement:  Yes, feeling more all the time and on the outside now too.
Food cravings:  No cravings, but Mark did tell me that I'm addicted to Ruffles Chips and French Onion dip.  It's been my go to munchie lately.
Anything making you queasy or sick:  The thought of cooking ground beef.
Gender:   It's a GIRL!!!!!!!!
Labor Signs: None
Symptoms: Heartburn.
Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On, but my hands are starting to get puffy, especially if I don't drink enough water.
Looking forward to: Looking at baby girl stuff!

He or She Old Wives Tales

First things first.  We felt actual baby kicks last night.  So fun!  Second, I did this with Beau and thought that it would be fun to do again.  Trying to predict baby's gender by old wives tales.

Carrying high is girl or low boy:  Looking back, I thought I carried Beau pretty high but it is nothing compared to this pregnancy. Going with girl on this one.

Heartbeat high is girl or low boy:  We've only heard it twice so far.  The first time was really high and the second time was really low so this one is a toss up.

Carrying in front means boy while carrying all around the middle means girl:  I feel like I'm carrying/gaining weight all around.  With Beau I was out front.  Girl on this tale!

Glowing means boy and stolen beauty means girl:  My skin is acne prone and my hair feels like straw.  Saying girl here.

Salty or sweet cravings:  This one could go either way for me too.  Toss up again.

Chinese gender calendar:  This one says boy.

Nausea during first trimester is a girl:  I definitely had this so girl.

Overall old wives tales are pointing to girl but I said that with Beau too.  I guess we will see tomorrow!!

20 Weeks-Half Way

Baby Size: Baby is the length of a banana this week.
Total weight gain: I'm not certain. I still haven't got on the scale since my last doctors appointment.
Maternity clothes? No, with any luck I will button my pants for another week!
Stretch marks? Nothing new, I've been slathering on the lotion and coconut and almond oils. It is so dry here.
Sleep: Sleep is still good.
Best moment this week: Beau jokingly yelling at me in the grocery store "Momma, you're makin' me crazy."  I laughed and thankfully so did the few people around us.
Miss Anything? The ability to take deep breaths when I'm working out.
Movement:  More all the time but still nothing that anyone else would be able to feel.
Food cravings:  Nothing in particular.
Anything making you queasy or sick:  Ground beef  never sounds good.  I can tolerate it but it never sounds good to eat or make which is unusual. Tacos and burgers are my go to meals when we can't think of anything else.
Gender:   I think girl, Mark thinks boy.
Labor Signs: No
Symptoms: Heartburn.
