Well our girl has been four months for more than a week already but I was waiting to see what her four month stats came back at and we didn't go to the doctor until yesterday. Thankfully it was a much better go this time and she didn't throw up the dropper "shot" everywhere. She weighed in at 13 pounds 11 ounces and was 25 inches long (63 and 33 percent respectively.) In comparison, Beau was 14.95 pounds and 26 inches, so she is a little rounder than her brother was. But nothing beats those baby rolls.
Blake had a busy month as we celebrated our first two major holidays, Halloween and Thanksgiving. She also got her first puppy....well really we all got the puppy but it was a fun event nonetheless. She also went to her first Christmas parade and tried to Johnny Jump up. She loves to stand. Other major milestones include finding her voice and trying to get up on her knees to crawl. She will be on the move before we know it. We still haven't got a really great giggle out of her yet but the smiles are plenty and contagious. Her whole entire little body lights up when she smiles.
No teeth yet but she is still chewing like crazy on anything she can get into her mouth. She has had some classic teething signs like rosy cheeks and diaper rash but if she is anything like her brother this will last a while before we actually see a tooth pop.
I can't wait to see what our next month will bring and to celebrate Blake's first Christmas. Until next month...
