27 Weeks
Total weight gain: At my doctor appointment this week I was up 9 lbs. Not bad!
Maternity clothes? A few things, I really want new clothes but I don't want to buy maternity anything anymore. I figure I won't wear it much after, I did buy a few long tank tops on Saturday that should get me through the end. If any of my other shirts get to short I will just wear those underneath.
Stretch marks? Still holding strong and don't have any showing up yet.
Sleep: I can't complain to much I wake up a few times a night for a bathroom break but when I'm sleeping it is good sleep.
Best moment this week: I spent Saturday with Mark. We got the baby registry at Babies R Us all done, had lunch, and just got to hang out for the day.
Miss Anything? My jeans fitting like normal. The belly belt still keeps them buttoned but it just isn't the same as the real thing.
Movement: Yes, but we did have a little scare that sent us to labor and delivery Saturday night. Normally I feel Charlie moving the most at around 9 o'clock at night. Thursday I noticed a little that he wasn't quite as wiggly, then Friday I noticed throughout the day a little but really again on Friday night. On Saturday morning I brought it up to Mark that I didn't feel like he was moving as much as normal so I just tried to pay attention throughout the day. He was definitely still moving but still not as much, Saturday night I noticed it again. Mark and I talked about it, I called my mom, I cried, I finally called the doctor and they asked me to come in. I really cried. They hooked me up to monitors to watch baby's heartbeat and see if I was having any contractions. (The nurse thought I was having some little ones but the doctor on call said no.) After watching the heartbeat they did an ultrasound and checked everything: movement, fluid, heartbeat, cervical length. Everything. Thankfully all of it checked out and they think that baby is just in such a different position from normal that I can't feel it as much and the movement is in different places. We came home a few hours later and I really felt like a drama queen. The peace of mind was worth it though.
Food cravings: Nothing really.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope
Gender: Boy
Labor Signs: Thankfully no!
Symptoms: Nothing really, unless you count the rise in blood pressure I had on Saturday.
Belly Button in or out? In, but not as deep.
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, but if I start crying at anthing I feel like I can't stop.
Looking forward to: Taking it easy and starting the third trimester. I can't believe it!
