4 Months

Wow! How the time around here is flying.  Beau turned four months on Friday and yesterday made one year from the day I told Mark that we were expecting. It's crazy to think that a year ago the cute smiling boy above was just a poppy seed in my belly.  We love him more than we could have ever imagined!

Month four has brought yet again many changes. Besides the obvious fact that Beau is growing like a weed we've hit a lot of other milestones as well.  He's got rolling over down both ways for the most part.  He has trouble when rolling from his back to his tummy because he hasn't quite figured out how to get his arm out from under his body.  He much stronger with his head and neck now and can sit with assistance in his Bumbo chair or if somebody just holds him.  Hand coordination is much better and he will hold his toys and his bottle.  He can't always find his mouth with the bottle but he knows where it goes and it ticks him off when he can't get it into his mouth fast enough.  He's also discovered his feet and toes and plays with them quite often.  Our favorite milestone this month though...full blown giggles!  Our little boy is developing quite the personality with a little attitude mixed in. He's happy, very vocal, and just so fun!

Beau also had his first sleep over with Grandma and Grandpa this month too.  Mark and I went with his family on our annual Deadwood, SD trip for the Kool Deadwood Nights Car Show.  Beau got spoiled with new jammies and lots of hugs and kisses.  We missed him terribly, I could've cried more when we picked him than when we dropped him off I was so excited to see him.  All in all I think the trip was harder on me that it was on him and I'm happy to report that we picked up a smiling boy who still knew exactly who Momma and Daddy were! I think it will be a while before his next sleep over though!

We go for more shots and a check up on Tuesday so I will be back to report his height and weight and probably share a ton of pictures.
