Blaire - Four Months

Blaire has been four months for two weeks now.  Time is going so quickly and there is nothing harder than jumping on my computer at the end of the day when there are mouths to feed and babies to keep entertained. And then this week started the craziness of COVID-19 and quarantine. Needless to say I'm very late in writing this.

Our girl continues to be a happy baby.  She smiles all day long unless she is hungry or tired.  She is sleeping through the night almost every night which is fantastic.  She is so strong, still rolling both ways and holding her head up.  Also, like I hoped for we got out first laughs out of her and they were nothing short of amazing.  Shes laughed several times now and talk about a definite highlight to our days.

At her four month well check we found out she is still a tiny peanut.  I knew she was going to be little where charts were concerned but not two percent (weight - 11 pounds) and four percent (height - 23 inches) little.  We have to go back in a month for a weight check to make sure she trends up on the charts.  As long as she trends up she should be fine, if she stays the same we will have to bump up her calorie intake per day, and if she drops off at we have to do some labs and blood work.  I know she is growing and I think she is just a tiny baby but we shall see. She is still a great eater and is showing interest in food when we are eating so I might start adding some real foods to her diet soon.

Month five is already proving to be a big one.  She is lifting her butt trying to crawl.  I don't know how she is getting so big so fast. We will see how the next few weeks go with schools and daycare closed and our routines completely out of whack.  We will be praying for normalcy and a growing girl!
